#1 – We get a chance to meet each other and perhaps more importantly, your pets get a chance to give us the ‘once over’ 😎
Seriously though, you’ll see how they react to us and vice versa. I appreciate this is fairly rudimentary but we’re usually with you for 20-25 minutes sometimes longer so it’s a reasonably good indicator
You should feel reassured and happy to be leaving them in our care
#2 – As your cat or dog has already met us, when we do turn up on the day, at least now they have met us, and there is some trust, we’re not going in cold as it were
And that is really important with cats and dogs, any animal for that matter.
But especially important with dogs as we’ll be taking them for walks and may be giving them meds if required.
#3 – If we’re looking after your pets and your home while you’re away then this becomes even more important.
